As the stars hung softly,
In the night sky,
You serenaded around me,
Moonlight dancing,
In your eyes.
Coaxed,
By a tone of sincerity,
In your wooing,
Heady from your,
Sweet words spinning,
My heart-strings took to vibrating,
reverberating strongly,
And of their own ac-cord;
An accompaniment,
To your soothing vocals.
Is my heart really fluttering?
Perhaps, it’s just the wind.
