All the shards,
Of my broken heart,
Scattered,
Like road-kill,
On the dusty highway of life,
After crashing head long,
Into your cold-blooded,
Metallic heart.
Transformed in the Light,
Of grace and forgiveness…
My broken pieces,
Have now become,
As a beach full of shells,
Happily resting in the warmth of God’s love;
Counted as One with,
His most Precious Collection.

Oh Wow! I can appreciate this poem–God is so good at “transformations”, salvaging what’s lost/damaged, turning it all to Treasure.

Aww, yes indeed. Though life lead us broken and shattered, God never failed to pick up out broken piece and place them close to His heart. Beautiful poem, Gilda. ❤

everything transforms, it’s nice to see when someone can go in the love direction (and not stay overwhelmed by sorrow). Beautifully written 🙂
