The wind
Changed directions
In my life
Many times.
But only when the
Nor’easter blew in
Did I let God’s love
Change mine…
My spirit jarred and raw
From bracing against
The cold northeasterly winds
Helpless, alone…
Thereby setting sail for
His safe Inner Harbor
My heart dropping anchor
Peaceful, secure.
No longer tossed about
Willy-nilly
By the wind’s fickle currents
On life’s ever-shifting sea.

Oh thanks Sailaja! I probably only have “the faith of a mustard seed,” but still God walks with me every single day. For this I wish to express gratitude, over and over in every which way!❤️
