Children milling about,
The ice cream truck’s,
Bells ring out,
Brightly colored shirts,
Whirl around,
Happy feet scamper by,
Quickly falling in line.
Summertime…
Swaying in the heat,
To the ice cream truck’s,
Welcomed beat…
The coolest,
Sweetest sound!

awww. this adorable poem made me nostalgic! those were the lovely days when a scoop of ice cream is too precious yet it can make my day brighter. 😀

Thanks, glad you enjoyed! Honestly, being a mom, at times the ice cream truck makes me cringe, but I was going with a child’s perspective here!

I’ll have a 99 with flavour (this may be lost in translation it’s a UK thing.) Made my mouth water. Lovely poem Gilda.
