Humble Presence,
Patiently waiting,
To dispose of…
The guilt, sorrow and blame,
Still haunting our past,
As well as dread and hopelessness,
Lurking there in our future.
God’s open hands and heart,
Accepting our long-awaited,
Renunciation…
Night or day, anytime!
No “special pick-up” required,
No explanation needed,
Or questions asked.
Happy to schlep away every burdensome load.
In no way above this so-called,
“Dirty work.”
Removing the dark thoughts fermenting,
In dark hidden alleys,
Attracting fearsome scavengers,
In our troubled minds.
Brave hearts,
Need only release “hang-ups.”
Placing present life in God’s,
Competent, most qualified hands…
Heavy-laden hearts, now emptied,
Spread their lightness and joy,
Across the land.

Wow so beautiful written on these garbage vans, they just their bit and never question why or what. Lovely post Gilda.

Thanks so much! Yes, I thank God & also give kudos to the sanitation crew who also play a part in our process of “letting go.”
