An Olive Branch Nest

Two opposite camps,

Separate views,

Clear line, creating

Clean break, right down the middle…

The warmth seeping out.

How do we bridge the gap?

With an olive branch,

One at a time, placed gingerly

Over the deepest wound first,

Then all around…

A nest formed in time,

Safe space for frozen emotions,

To finally thaw.

Where birds of many different feathers,

“Flock together.”

Sharing one planet earth nest, warmed by

The same human life-blood,

Formed by the same Loving Source.

Be the first to offer an olive branch…

Build Love’s peaceful resting place.

  1. It is difficult swallowing my pride and being the first to extend the olive branch but somehow this has to be done to bridge the gap and bring peace in our lives. Thank you for sharing ❤
