Rattling the Status Quo

The underdog, the outsider, the strong-willed,

The misunderstood, the introspective, the passionate,

The addicted, those living “on the spectrum,”

The left out, the left behind, or passed over,

The undiscovered and undefined,

The way-pavers and way showers,

The rule breakers and troublemakers,

The hard to please and hard to know,

The uncontainable and untrainable…

Shaking things up,

Preventing stagnation,

Rattling all the caged bones,

Keeping dust from settling on miscued priorities…

Their deep wounds keeping open or reopening,

Compassionate spaces in our hearts,

Stopping them from locking up,

Or rusting over from non-use,

And from everyday robotic living.

So rattle our cages,

Test our hearts,

Threaten our unquestioned days,

And complacent nights,

Push the element to expand our notion,

And vision of what it means,

To be human,

Our reason for being and

Our final destination…

For a spiritually sick, spiritually lacking world,

Cannot survive “status quo,” for long,

Thank God for the outcasts and misfits,

Who at the very least, get us thinking…

Perhaps the problems in the world,

Not their doing, but evidence,

Of one spiritually un-evolved and

Malnourished “Human Body“…

Filled with judgements and such.

Our world, perhaps in need of one big,

Group hug?

I to i

little broken i,

separate, alone one…

lost at sea.

Healing…a process of

becoming Whole;

Connecting to the Greater One,

Universal I.

never needing to feel,

broken, separate or alone again.

i now, first time, living in Truth.

one little i stretching outward,

little tributary reaching for,

and met by the Greater Sea…

of One-ness.

I to i,

One to one,

You and me.

Dropping Costumes

Super human,

Don’t claim to be.

Playing Wonder Woman,

Not my priority.

Letting go of,

Stubborn pride’s game.

Tight, ill-fitting costume,

Won’t suit me.

Giving it to God,

Just for today.

Wearing my truth,

Like a shield of honor.

Taking time out…

One very precious moment,

To relax, unwind,

Be me!

(I actually love Wonder Woman.  Just wouldn’t wish to fill her shoes!)

That’s Something!

God is Everything.

And it’s fair to say,

That I am something.

As something is,

Part of Everything,

So too, God must be,

Part of me.

NOW THAT’S SOMETHING!

Once I link to God,

Who is Everything,

I can stop running,

Willy nilly around,

As one without a head,

Viewing the whole wide world,

Through the eyes,

Of God instead.

When I clear my brain to correct,

Tunnel vision…

How much quicker and easier,

I get where need to be!

Better than buying faster running shoes,

Or building stronger muscles.

I may be something, but without connecting to,

EVERYTHING, I am nothing.

Healed Abandonment

You didn’t drop me,

From your arms,

On purpose or,

Even by accident.

No, you placed me,

Down gently by the side of,

The road…

Then quietly walked away.

With forgiveness and gratitude,

For you, and for life,

Biggest heartache,

Turned around…

Abandonment healed.

Now tucked safely in the pocket,

Of Your healing heart,

Sweet Jesus,

Accepting love again,

With childlike abandon.

(Letter from newly adopted child of God.)

Grand Navigator

Fire’s passion could burn us to our core,

We could drown in a sea of emotions,

Be crushed by the weight of stagnant rock’s debris,

Be swept away by winds of change, or flights of fancy.

How do we know when, where

And what is safe to explore?

God as loving guide leads us,

With our intuitive, internal, (conscience) compass.

Ship’s finest Captain, unmatched Fire Tamer,

Expert Aviator and Earth’s greatest Pioneer,

Steers us clear with skill and care.

G-reatest P-ath for S-oul assured…

With God’s “GPS” turned on.

My Time

Sensitive soul,

Empath,

Never sure,

Where I stopped…

Or you began.

Endless reams of journal pages,

Conversations with God to carry me through,

Offer spiritual growth and healing.

Time now,

Connect and share,

Lovely soul sisters, brothers,

From across the globe.

Awashed by steady streams,

Of insights and inspiration…

Hearts poured forth,

On gifted pages.

Blessed time,

When stars align,

Opportune chance to write,

Blog’s love song.”

What stopped me before?

Not quite sure…

Life, survival, motherhood, fear,

fulfilling expectations?

Today, secure in God’s love,

With hope and joy,

One truth to share.

I Know You

(A Love Letter from God to His Children)

I know you like the back of my hand,

Like sun’s rays,

 Shining through,

Broken glass on your window pane,

Like the seeds that fall,

From your garden’s bloom,

Like the rain,

That smears lipstick upon your chin,

Or the house fly that sits,

On your cupboard’s rim.

Like the sound lodged in your throat,

When you cannot speak,

Like the desert wind,

Knows a cactus’ brittle skin,

Or earth’s most barren places,

Know their fruitful twin,

Same as the blistering sun,

Knows it’s worshipers,

And  glistening stars know,

Their dreamers…

I have known and loved you

From time’s begin,

Have staked my claim…

Still, you don’t see me.
