In the night, dark, cold and grey,

Stranded, naked, alone and shivering…

Searching distant shores,

For a little warmth and light.

Do you seek outside for answers,

Longing for freedom’s sight?

Or can you see past the horizon,

Where your ship was due to come in?

Sure as each day turns to night,

And each night becomes the day,

Your darkness too shall fall away.

Never will the Lord desert you…

Just turn on your Sacred Inner Light,

And feel the warmth and peace,

As God’s love lights your way.
