Hope for Angels with Broken Wings

God offers strength in disentanglement,

Peace in disengagement,

And freedom in release…

For all the tired & weary caregivers, God warriors and peace bringers of the world,

God sends down his love,

On Spirit wings,

To mend these human angels with broken wings,

Touching each one,

With just enough heavenly grace,

To keep flying,

Above the madness and the mayhem…

Secure in the peace, love and joy,

Of God, this year and always,

Until arriving safely Home again.

Loving Home

There are houses

Of varying shapes and sizes

Cement, wood, stone,

Metal,  bricks,

Or even straw…

Made with a carpenter’s dexterous skill,

And an architect’s most intelligent design.

Animals and insects also build amazing

Structures in which to live;

Really, a testament of God’s likha.

While houses can be made with love,

Given all the intelligence and skill

One can muster,

Love, only love, can make a house, a home…

a favorite space for resting weary heads.
